Part of KY 111 Closed Near Grange City in Fleming County Next Week for Drainage Repairs
Daytime closures Sept. 29-Oct. 1, 8-3

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Sept. 22, 2020) – The Kentucky Department of Highways will temporarily close part of KY 111 in Fleming County next week for drainage pipe replacements.

From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m, each day, Tuesday, Sept. 29, through Thursday, Oct. 1, crews will close KY 111 between Grange City and Hillsboro – specifically, between milepoints 3.4 to 3.8, just north of the Grange City bridge – to replace several cross drains underneath the highway. Barricades will be placed on KY 111 at the KY 1722 and KY 158 intersections with no through traffic allowed past those points.

During work hours, all through traffic should detour using KY 1722, KY 801, and KY 158, or other local routes.

Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
