TRAFFIC ADVISORY: KY 207 in Greenup County to Close for Embankment Repairs
Aug. 19-28 between Industrial Parkway and KY 503

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Aug. 14, 2020) – Embankment repairs needed along KY 207 between the Industrial Parkway (KY 67) and KY 503 in Greenup County will require a temporary road closure this month.

Beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, KY 207 will be closed at milepoint 11.5 – about a half mile north of the Industrial Parkway interchange between Ridge Terrace and Hamilton Cemetery Road – so crews can excavate an embankment slip and make rock slope repairs.

The road will remain closed day and night through Aug. 28, or until work is complete. Motorists may detour during construction by using US 23 and the Industrial Parkway through Wurtland.

Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
