Emergency road aid funds awarded to Fleming County
For slide repairs on Wooley Road
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Feb. 11, 2020) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet today announced the Fleming County Fiscal Court will receive $51,100 in County Road Aid emergency funds for slide repairs on Wooley Road. These repairs will make travel safer for motorists, school buses and other vehicles that rely upon this highway.
"The Transportation Cabinet is pleased to approve this request for funding to provide assistance to Fleming County to repair and maintain safe connections in the community," said Transportation Secretary Jim Gray.
The repairs will take place on Wooley Road (CR 1007) located about a half mile north of Miller Cemetery Road. The Fleming County Fiscal Court is responsible for administering the work.
