Traffic Advisory: Temporary closure of KY 57 (Cassidy Creek) in Nicholas County

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Oct. 25, 2019) – State highway crews will temporarily close part of KY 57 (Cassidy Creek Road) in Nicholas County next week to make embankment repairs.

Beginning Monday, Oct. 28, and continuing through Friday, Nov. 1, crews will close KY 57 at mile marker 14 – about 1.5 miles south of KY 32, between Locust Grove Road and Clay WMA access – to repair the embankment alongside Cassidy Creek. The road will be closed to all thru traffic at that location from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Barricades will be placed at Locust Grove Road and KY 928 with only local traffic permitted past those points.  No detour will be posted, but traffic may use KY 32 and KY 36 to navigate around the closure.
