Emergency road aid funds announced for Bath, Elliott, Lewis county road repairs
$259,610

 

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Dec. 21, 2018) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has announced that $259,610 in County Road Aid emergency funds was awarded in November and December to Bath, Elliott and Lewis counties for road repairs.

Of the total, $85,550 in funding was authorized Dec. 6 for flood damage repair on various Bath County roads; $24,430 was provided for a slide repair project on Elmer Stone Road (CR 1330) located a half mile north of KY 504 in Elliott County; and $149,630 was provided for slide repairs at seven locations on Concord Trinity Road (CR 1324) in northwest Lewis County.

"The Bevin administration is committed to the Cabinet's mission of providing a safe, reliable transportation network for all Kentuckians," said KYTC Secretary Greg Thomas. "These emergency funds will help repair and restore damaged infrastructure throughout this community."

The Bath County, Elliott County and Lewis County fiscal courts are responsible for administering the work.
