Traffic Advisory: KY 3288 culvert work next week, Oct. 15-19
Daily lane closures, delays expected

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Oct. 11, 2018) – Motorists using KY 3288 (Convict Pike) in Bath County should expect daily lane closures and delays next week for roadway drainage repairs.

Beginning Monday, Oct. 15, and continuing through Friday, Oct. 19, Kentucky Department of Highways crews will replace seven culverts underneath the roadway at several locations between the Bethel and Sharpsburg areas.

At times, the roadway will be blocked, and lengthy delays are likely. During daytime work hours – 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. – motorists may detour using KY 1106, KY 36 and KY 11.

Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
