FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Oct. 2, 2018) — Kentucky Department of Highways crews will temporarily close the KY 773 bridge closest to Hitchins in Carter County for two days this week for concrete repairs. The bridge will close at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, and remain closed until 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4, as crews make a patch to the concrete bridge deck. The bridge must remain closed to all traffic to allow concrete to cure. Through traffic may reroute using KY 1 and KY 7 through Grayson. Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
