Traffic Advisory: Lane closures on I-64 for bridge inspections
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (July 16, 2018) – Motorists should watch for temporary lane closures on I-64 for bridge inspections this week in Bath, Rowan and Carter counties.
Beginning Tuesday, July 17, contractors will inspect bridges on I-64 between Mt. Sterling and the Rowan County line in Bath County around mile markers 118, 120, 122 and 129. On Wednesday, July 18, contractors will inspect bridges in Carter County near Olive Hill at mile marker 161.
Inspections will require one-lane traffic across each bridge being inspected for a short duration each day. Motorists should slow down, heed warning signs and merge early. Traffic backups are possible. Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
