Traffic Advisory: Road work closures on KY 1122, KY 1444 in Carter County next week
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (May 18, 2018) — State highway crews in Carter County will temporarily close parts of KY 1122 and KY 1444 next week to replace culvert pipes underneath the roadways. Motorists should expect the following road closures:
— Monday, May 21, KY 1122 closed at milepoint 2.5 at Beetle - 2.5 miles from the Elliott County line - during normal working hours, approximately 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
— Wednesday, May 23, KY 1444 closed at milepoint 0.4 - just off KY 7 near Grayson Lake - during normal working hours, approximately 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
