Traffic Advisory: Signal work on US 60 in downtown Ashland
April 2-5

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (March 30, 2018) – State highway crews will upgrade traffic signals along 12th and 13th streets (US 60) in downtown Ashland next week, required flagged traffic.

Beginning about 9 a.m. Monday, April 2, at the 13th Street and Lexington Avenue intersection, technicians will install upgraded signals, new wiring and new controls. The work will require the signals to be deactivated for several hours, during which time flaggers will control all traffic through the intersection.

Work will progress to the 13th and Central, 13th and Carter, and 12th and Carter intersections on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, weather permitting. Work will require deactivation of each signal, and flagged traffic at each intersection.

Motorists should slow down and travel with caution through the work zone, heed all flagger directions, and expect delays. Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
