Traffic Advisory: KY 419 in Mason County closed for repair

Daily, 8-4:30, this week

 

FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (Jan. 3, 2018) – Flood damage repairs on KY 419 in Mason County will require daytime closures of the state highway for the remainder of this week.

Embankment work will take place two-tenths mile south of the North Fork of Licking River Bridge, between the bridge and Clift Pike at the 2.6 milepoint. Work will require KY 419 to be closed 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day at the work site. Only local traffic will be permitted from Key Pike to KY 3170 in Lewisburg during work hours.

Through traffic may detour via KY 324 to US 68 at Mayslick or via KY 324 to KY 11 at Wedonia.

Road work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
