Temporary closures on KY 1319 in Spencer County July 8-12

Louisville, KY (July 1, 2019) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of temporary closures next week on KY 1319 (Dale Lane) in Spencer County. KYTC maintenance crews will be replacing five cross-drains along this route between the Bullitt/Spencer County line and McIntosh Drive (mile marker 2.1 to 3.0). This work is being done in preparation for roadway resurfacing later this summer.

Work is scheduled for the week of July 8-12. Replacement of the cross-drains will occur daily from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and will require the temporary closure of KY 1319. In addition, this section of roadway will be closed on Wednesday evening, July 10 from 6 p.m. until midnight.

Access will be provided to residences along KY 1319 on either side of the cross-drain replacement work. All through traffic must detour via McIntosh Drive to Peterson Drive to KY 1060 (Plum Creek Road) and then reconnect with KY 1319.
