KY 100 in Cumberland County reduced to one lane beginning, Monday
Work expected to last four weeks, traffic controlled by flaggers
SOMERSET, Ky. (July 19, 2019) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 8 office advises motorists that beginning Monday, July 22, KY 100 in Cumberland County will be reduced to one lane as crews perform rock removal.
The lane closure will begin at the Cumberland/Monroe County line (mile point 0) and extend to mile point 1 (Mud Camp Creek). Work will be performed Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CT, each day.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Drivers should expect long delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination.
The lane closure is expected to last four weeks. Duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.
