Traffic Advisory: Work on KY 32, First Street at Morehead and KY 1106 in Bath County this week
                                                     Watch for traffic impacts
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (June 17, 2013) – Motorists should watch for daytime traffic impacts on several roadways in Morehead and Bath County this week. Projects include:
-        Bridge repairs on KY 32 at North Fork of Triplett Creek near Walmart Way. Beginning Wednesday, June 19, KY 32 will be reduced to one lane both directions.
-        Paving on First Street in downtown Morehead near the conference center is scheduled for Thursday and Friday. Lane restrictions and temporary closures possible. Parking could be impacted. Consider alternate routes.
-        Paving nearly four miles of KY 1106 in Bath County, from KY 1325 to Flat Creek, beginning Tuesday. Expect delays and temporary closures. Seek alternate routes if possible.
In addition, work is continuing on Interstate 64 in Bath, Rowan and Carter counties. The interstate is reduced to one lane from mile markers 120 to 124 near Owingsville, 134 to 138 at Morehead and from 154 to 160 near Olive Hill. Speed limit reduced to 55 mph.
Road work is subject to change depending on weather conditions. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
