Concrete pavement repairs in Franklin County to begin March 8
Louisville, KY (March 4, 2013) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office advises motorists to be aware of impending construction on US 127 and KY 676 in Franklin County.  Work is scheduled to begin March 8 to perform concrete pavement repairs and diamond grinding at two different intersections on these routes. 
Construction is scheduled for weekends at the intersection of US 127 and KY 676 (East-West Connector) and at the intersection of KY 676 and KY 1659 (Glenns Creek Road).
Lane closures will be possible at these intersections over the next two months from 7:00 p.m. on Fridays until 6:00 a.m. on Mondays.
Bluegrass Contracting Corp of Lexington was awarded the contract for this project in the amount of $306,000.
