Mission:  The Kentucky Office of Highway Safety program (KOHS) originated in January 1997 as a statewide effort by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to reduce the high crash, injury, and fatality rates by using the 4 E’s of highway safety:  Education, Engineering, Enforcement, and Emergency Response.
