QUESTION: Would you please explain why there is no DBE requirement on “Statewide Underwater Inspection” project that is funded by federal funds?

ANSWER: Since there are no DBE firms prequalified for Bridge Maintenance Services - Underwater Structure Inspection this would not be practical to consider a DBE participation plan. It would not be possible for any meaningful engineering services to be provided by a certified DBE firm.
