Is the document available for review by consultants interested in responding to this project? ANSWER: The Environmental Document is a CE Level 3 and has been submitted to FHWA for review/approval. The document is not available for review by consultants at this time. The approved document will be made available to the selected consultant. 2009-03 - Hardin Co. - I 65/KY 222 Interchange - Item No. 4-20.00 QUESTION: Can the digital Phase I plans and profiles for the preferred alternative be made available as soon as possible? Not providing these would give the Phase I consultant such a strong advantage that it would make it difficult for others to compete. ANSWER: We have added the Hardin County - Item No. 4-20.00—I-65 / KY22 Interchange— 2009-03 - Hardin Co. - I 65/KY 222 Interchange - Item No. 4-20.00 QUESTION: Can you verify that roundabouts are still being considered for the Hardin County project? Or is that no longer an option? ANSWER: Yes, roundabouts were considered during Phase I studies and is still a viable alternate that may be considered for phase II.
2009-03 - Campbell Co. I-275 - Combs-Hehl Bridge QUESTION: There is a prequalification requirement for a "Licensed
Structural Engineer in Kentucky ". I emailed the Kentucky Board of Engineers
and Land Surveyors asking if Kentucky offers an official Structural Engineer
(SE) licensure, David Cox's response was "We do not since we do not license
by discipline. However, an engineer can only practice in his or her areas
