INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS
I-66 (

The Transportation Cabinet, Department
of Highways has scheduled two public meetings for the above referenced project. These public meetings have been scheduled to present
the preferred I-66 alternative to the public. The meeting locations and dates
are:
August 27th,
2007
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
August 28th,
2007
6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Center for Rural
Development
Informal format (stop by anytime between 6 pm and 8 pm)
This project provides for the
construction of a limited access interstate facility approximately 22 miles in
length between
Department personnel and consultants will be
available to show the preferred alternative and answer questions. Handouts,
comment sheets and displays will be available at the meeting. Oral and written statements may be submitted during the meetings, as well as at the District Office, and shall be made part
of the official meeting record. A recorder
will be made available for those who desire to make oral statements. Project
information will be available for review and comments accepted at both KYTC
District offices from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., prevailing local time, Monday
through Friday until September 14, 2007.

Once compiled, the meeting record and/or
other supporting documentation will be made available for review and copying
only after an Open Records Request has been received and approved. All Open Records Requests must be submitted
to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Office of Legal Services,
The Federal Highway Administration reviewed and
approved for legal sufficiency the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS)
for this project. The DEIS was signed by
FHWA on June 1, 2006.
