Bidding Requirements & Conditions
All organizations and individuals bidding on Department projects and accepting subcontracts on Department projects must apply for and receive Department prequalification and possess a Certificate of Eligibility as
provided in regulations published by the Department according to KRS
Section 176.140.

DIRECTORIES

The purpose of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's (Cabinet) Certified and Prequalified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), Certified Material Suppliers, Certified Related Services and Certified Consultant Directory is to assist potential contractors in their efforts to identify and utilize DBEs that are participating in the Cabinet's DBE Program. These firms are certified in accordance with 49 Code of Federal Regulations Part 26 (49 CFR 26).

CERTIFIED AND PREQUALIFIED DBES

Certified and prequalified DBEs (in construction) are prequalified with the Cabinet in accordance with KRS 176.130 - 176.220.

CERTIFIED MATERIAL SUPPLIERS
CERTIFIED AND PREQUALIFIED CONSULTANTS

Certified and prequalified consultants are prequalified with the Cabinet in accordance with 600 KAR 6:040. Prequalification of firms for professional engineering or related services. RELATES TO: KRS 45A.800 to 45A.835, 23 C.F.R. 172, 49 C.F.R. 18, 23 U.S.C. STATUTORY AUTHORITY: KRS 13A.100(1), 45A.800 to 45A.835, 45A.807(2), 23 C.F.R. 172, 49 C.F.R. 18, 23 U.S.C.
