On Monday, Sept. 22, traffic will be switched onto the newly-constructed segment of US 460 in Menifee County. As this is still an active construction zone, a speed limit of 45 mph will be posted. Portions of this segment will not be full-width and there will be no shoulders in some locations.
This is part of the project to relocate US 460 in Menifee County, east of Frenchburg near Mariba. The project will result in a new highway linking the existing newer sections that have been reconstructed in recent years.
