NOTICE:  Project Advertisements for FY15

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is providing a list of projects that it anticipates to advertise for engineering, right-of-way, and statewide services over the next year. Studies, preliminary plans or other documents associated with any of these projects will be made available at the time the project is advertised. DBE requirements for each project will be considered and determined as each advertisement is developed.

KYTC reserves the right to add or delete projects, in whole or in part, from this list without advance notice. Anyone interested in these projects should check this page periodically for updates. After the issuance of this notice, firms or their representatives, and KYTC personnel should exercise professional judgment when discussing any projects from this list so that a "level playing field" is maintained for all potential responding firms.

In accordance with the FHWA and KYTC Stewardship Plan, dated December 2012, a Scope Verification Meeting (SVM) will be conducted for all federal-aid projects requiring a Categorical Exclusion Level 3 (CE3), EA/FONSI or EIS to document appropriate consideration of environmental impacts. Timing of the meeting is important, to assure that all parties are in agreement with the scope of the work to be tasked to the consultant prior to the Pre-Design Meeting.
