Traffic Incident Management meetings are held in several Highway Districts to incorporate Incident Management responders such as Highway District personnel, Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire, other State and Federal agencies, wrecker companies, and contractors. The goal is to communicate on how to improve incident response, improve scene and responder safety, and to open the roadway as soon as possible.
These meetings are also used as After Action Reviews for past incidents that have occurred in each of these areas since the last meeting. This is helpful for some incidents that don't warrant an initial AAR, but have proven to be helpful to review the incident and identify areas of improvement. Attendance at these meetings is voluntary for any agency or company that responds to and coordinates incidents on the Interstates and Parkways.
To access the meeting calendar, go to the Events page. Contact your local Coordinator at the District Office with questions or comments.
Thank you for your attendance and participation in making Kentucky’s roadways safer for the travelling public.
