Saved by the Belt Survey

The purpose of “Saved by the Belt” program is to identify individuals in Kentucky whose lives have been saved, or injuries significantly reduced, because they were wearing a seat belt or were secured in a child safety seat during a vehicle crash .  In recognizing individuals who were “saved by the belt” the Transportation Cabinet’s Office of Highway Safety and its safety partners hope to increase public awareness of the benefits of riding properly restrained.
