 Public Involvement

October 11, 2021 Update :

KYTC initiated a study of the corridor with consultant engineering firm Qk4, Inc. in August 2020. The team has been working to identify existing conditions, review community input from the previous survey effort in January 2021, and recommend possible short- and long-term highway improvements for the narrow, two-lane highway.

There is an interactive mapping tool available online to review the efforts completed to-date, which concludes with a survey tab to share your opinion on each improvement concept. The team will take your input into consideration for final planning study recommendations and potential future project(s) prioritization.

Other than small-scale safety fixes, no future funding has been identified to implement any study recommendations. A report documenting the planning study process is expected to be available online in late 2021.

Please complete the survey(s) by October 15, 2021.

January 1, 2021 Update:

The KYTC is seeking your input.  Public input is an essential part of the project development process to meet needs of roadway users on a local and regional level. As part of this study effort, KYTC wants to know what you think. Please take a moment to complete this survey to help identify existing needs along the highway. Following the first 4 questions, a link will take you to an online mapping portal to enter location-specific data about existing traffic and safety concerns.  Please have your comments and concerns in by January 15, 2021.
