KYTC Storm Update 7 AM March 6: Plows now working partly, mostly covered roads; slick conditions still the rule
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (7 a.m. Friday, March 6) — State plow crews remain focused on keeping blades down this morning, removing snow from still-icy highways and waiting on help from today's expected sunshine.
Storm Update 5 PM Thursday, March 5: Crews continuously plowing, making headway; roads remain snow covered, travel not advised
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (5 p.m. Thursday, March 5) — At this hour, diminishing snow showers in northeast Kentucky have helped Kentucky Department of Highways District 9 crews make headway in clearing state highways but most roads remain mostly to completely snow covered and slick - and officials continue to advise against travel to give crews space to work.
