Left turn lanes to be temporarily closed on KY 80 in Pulaski County
Closure is part of KY 80 rehabilitation project
SOMERSET, Ky. (Oct. 10, 2013) – Beginning Monday, October 14, the left turn movements along KY 80 beginning at the intersection of KY 80 and KY 2300/Clifty St. (mile point 19.102) extending to the intersection of KY 80 and Farm Bureau Dr./K-Mart (mile point 19.370) will be temporarily closed as part of the KY 80 rehabilitation project.
Right turn movements at these intersections will remain open to traffic.
Traffic wanting to access Clifty St. or K-Mart will need to access via westbound KY 80 only. Traffic wanting to access KY 2300 or Farm Bureau Dr. will need to use eastbound KY 80 or KY 1247 to KY 80X.
Closure of these intersections is expected to last approximately one week. The duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes and allow extra time in reaching their destinations.
