Lane closure scheduled for KY 1295 in
Work involves stabilization of an embankment area
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 27, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a temporary single lane closure is scheduled for a portion of KY 1295 in Madison County. The closure is necessary for work toward the stabilization of an embankment area.
Work will be performed:
- Friday, June 28 through Friday, July 12 – 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for each day/evening of work
- No work will be performed on Thursday, July 4 or Friday, July 5
The location for the closure on KY 1295 will be near mile point 0.50. The eastbound lane will be closed during the hours of work.
Appropriate signage and flaggers will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public.
All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling near the area.
