Lane closure scheduled for KY 57 (Bryan Station Road) Bridge in Fayette County
Bridge Deck Restoration Project to take place
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 26, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a temporary lane closure is scheduled for the KY 57 (Bryan Station Road) Bridge in Fayette County. The closure is necessary for deck restoration work to be completed on the bridge.
Work will be performed:
- Monday, April 29 at 8:00 a.m. – one lane will close on the KY 57/Bryan Station Road Bridge (the bridge is located over Interstate 64 and Interstate 75)
KY 57 (Bryan Station Road) will be reduced to one lane on the bridge for approximately three weeks.
A temporary traffic light will be installed to allow alternating one lane traffic over the bridge. Appropriate signage will be in place to alert the traveling public.
All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
