Closure scheduled for KY 1963 (Lisle Road) in
The intersection of KY 1963 (Lisle Road) and US 25
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 12, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a temporary closure is scheduled for KY 1963 (Lisle Road) in Scott County. The closure is necessary for the installation of pavement markings, pavement design and grading work to be completed.
Work will be performed:
- Wednesday, April 17 – a portion of the road will close at 9:00 a.m. and remain closed until reopening on Friday, April 19 at 6:00 a.m.
The location for the closure on KY 1963 (Lisle Road) will be between mile point 0.000 and mile point 0.250. This area is the intersection of Lisle Road with US 25. Appropriate signage and traffic control devices will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public.
A signed detour will be in place:
- motorists can utilize KY 1962 (Lemon’s Mill Road) to US 460/US 62 (the Georgetown Bypass)
All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
