Roadway improvements scheduled for
District 7 roadways
Part of the Highway Safety Improvement Project (HSIP)
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 3, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that the installation of rumble strips is scheduled for roadways in District 7. Rumble strips help to increase safety by assisting with the prevention of lane departures and head on collisions.
This will be a mobile operation with flaggers guiding and directing motorists. Appropriate signage will be in place to alert the traveling public.
Work will be performed during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.:

All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
