Pipe replacement and shoulder repairs at MP 3.78
LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 18, 2014) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a temporary closure is scheduled for KY 227 (Stamping Ground Road) in Scott County. The closure is necessary for pipe replacement and shoulder repair work to be completed.
Work schedule and location:
Monday, August 18
10:00 p.m.( this evening) to 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning (August 19)
Tuesday, August 19
10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday morning (August 20)
- KY 227 will be closed at mile point 3.78 (just past Galloway Road) for pipe replacement work.
Wednesday, August 20
10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning (August 21)
- KY 227 will be closed at mile point 3.78 (just past Galloway Road) for shoulder repair work.
Motorists can utilize KY 1688, KY 32, US 25 and US 460 to bypass the work zone.
All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
