Crack sealing project for pavement joints
LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 4, 2014) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that crack sealing work has begun for US 68 and US 27 (the Paris Bypass) in Bourbon County.
Crack sealing is a material used to seal pavement joints. This preventative process aids in preserving the life of the pavement. Thereby, aiding in the reduction of future maintenance costs.
Monday (today) through Friday, August 8
- M - F daytime work hours – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- US 27 (the Paris Bypass) - mile point 6.765 to mile point 8.731
- US 68 (the Paris Bypass) - mile point 0.0 to mile point 2.36
(single lane closures will be in effect with one lane remaining open at all times)
