Update for work in Montgomery County for
KY 686 (Indian Mound Drive) and US 460 (Camargo Road)
Crack sealing project for pavement joints
LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 4, 2014) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that this news release serves as an update for crack sealing work in Montgomery County. 
Crack sealing is a material used to seal pavement joints.  This preventative process aids in preserving the life of the pavement.  Thereby, aiding in the reduction of future maintenance costs.
  • Location for work completed:
KY 686 (Indian Mound Drive) –
  • mile point 0.0 to mile point 4.0
(east and westbound sections were completed as of Friday, August 1)
  • Locations of work to be rescheduled for a later date:
KY 686 (Indian Mound Drive) –
  • mile point 4.0 to mile point 6.333 (east and westbound)
US 460 (Carmargo Road) –
  • mile point 10.69 (KY 686) to mile point 13.8 (Oldham Road)
