Closures scheduled for I-75 (southbound) ramps
in Fayette County
Part of Interstate 75 Rehabilitation project
LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 1, 2014) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that temporary ramp closures are scheduled for Interstate 75 (southbound) in Fayette County. The closures are necessary for the rehabilitation project to continue.
Work schedule & locations:
Sunday, August 3 to Monday, August 4
7:00 p.m. on Sunday evening until 6:00 a.m. on Monday morning
- The southbound Exit 99 ramp (Old Richmond Road) will be closed for final surfacing work.
- The southbound Entrance 99 ramp (Old Richmond Road) will be closed for final surfacing work.
Only one ramp will be closed at a time/both ramps will
open by 6:00 a.m. on Monday morning.
Note: mile point 98 on I-75 is the Clay’s Ferry Bridge at the Madison County line
Appropriate signage and traffic control devices will be in place to alert motorists.
All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
