Public Invited to Share Input on Four Proposed Alignments for I-75 Connector
Meetings Set for August 5 and 7
The media and public are invited to attend either or both I‑75 Connector Public Information Meetings to be hosted in August by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) with the Lochner Design Team.
Public Information Meeting attendees can review four proposed alignments, one in each zone, and share input on them and the No Build Option. They also can ask questions of engineers regarding the project and the preliminary design process. The Public Information Meetings will be Open Format, meaning there is no formal program or public speaking opportunity. Written and oral comments will be accepted and entered into the Project’s official record.
The I-75 Connector is a proposed connector route between US 27 in Jessamine County and I-75 in Madison County. The study area was identified as the best corridor for a connector by the US 27 to I-75 Corridor Scoping Study in 2008. The corridor goes from the proposed East Nicholasville Bypass in Jessamine County to the KY 627/I-75 Interchange area in Madison County. More project information is available at I‑75connector.com
The Public Information Meeting gives all interested persons opportunities to review the Project information and provide comments to the Project Team.
