Project update for the US 60 Bypass in Woodford County
Mile point 7.345 to Mile point 9.305


LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 28, 2014) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that work is progressing for the US 60 Bypass in Woodford County.
The location for the project on the US 60 Bypass is between mile points 7.345 and 9.305 (a distance of 1.96 miles).  The anticipated completion date is Tuesday, August 5.
Work schedule:
8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Monday, July 28 - Tuesday, July 29
  • thermoplastic marking installation - this is a mobile operation
(eastbound and westbound)
Saturday, August 2
  • rumble strip installation - this will be a mobile operation
(eastbound and westbound)
Monday, August 4 - Tuesday, August 5
  • catch basin installation - lane closures will be in effect/one lane will remain open
(eastbound and westbound)
(basin installation to catch roadway debris)    
Alternate Routes:
  • motorists can utilize US 62 from the east KY 1967 from the west
