Crack sealing project for pavement joints
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 28, 2014) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that crack sealing work is scheduled for KY 686 (Indian Mound Drive) and US 460 (Camargo Road) in Montgomery County.
Crack sealing is a material used to seal pavement joints. This preventative process aids in preserving the life of the pavement. Thereby, aiding in the reduction of future maintenance costs.
- M - F daytime work hours – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- M - F nighttime work hours – 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
( if nighttime work is deemed necessary)
KY 686 (Indian Mound Drive) – Monday (today), July 28 through Friday, August 1
- mile point 0.0 to mile point 6.333 (east and westbound)
(single lane closures will be in effect --- traffic will need to merge as necessary)
US 460 (Carmargo Road) – Thursday, July 31 through Friday, August 8
- mile point 10.69 (KY 686) to mile point 13.8 (Oldham Road)
(flaggers will be assisting motorists on this two lane road and delays should be expected)
