Traffic diversion scheduled for I-75 (northbound)
in Fayette County
Part of the Interstate 75 Rehabilitation project (MP 106 to MP 98)
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 19, 2014) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a traffic diversion is scheduled for Interstate 75 (northbound) in Fayette County. The traffic switch is necessary for final surfacing work to continue.
Work schedule and location:
Monday evening, July 21 – 7:00 p.m.
- Northbound traffic will be switched from the current alignment (inside shoulder and left/fast lane) to the outside shoulder and right/slow lane.
- Traffic will be in this new configuration for approximately two weeks.
Note: Mile point 98 is the Clay’s Ferry Bridge at the Madison County line.
All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
