Closure scheduled for US 60 in Clark County

LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 20, 2014) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a temporary closure is scheduled for US 60 in Clark County.
The closure is necessary for roadway safety improvements to be completed. The improvements include guardrail upgrades, the addition of shoulders and replacing drainage structures.
Work schedule & location:
Monday, July 21 at 9:00 to Friday, August 1 at 9:00 a.m.
- US 60 will be closed between mile points 14.5 to 15.5
Residents who live on US 60 will be permitted access to and from their homes.
- motorists can utilize the Mt. Sterling Bypass and Interstate 64 in Clark and Montgomery Counties
All work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
