Repair work for bridge expansion joints
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 9, 2014) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a temporary closure is scheduled for an Interstate 75 (southbound) bridge in Lexington. The closure is necessary for the resealing of bridge expansion joints.
Work schedule and location:
Thursday, April 10 – 9:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m.
The southbound right (slow) lane will be closed between mile points 115 and 116.
The bridge location is mile point 115.2
Two lanes will remain open at all times.
Appropriate signage and traffic control devices will be in place to direct motorists through the work zone.
All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
