Closures scheduled for KY 4 (New Circle Road)/Versailles Road Interchange in Fayette County
Geotechnical drilling and survey work to continue
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 31, 2014) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a temporary closures are scheduled for the KY 4 (New Circle Road)/Versailles Road Interchange in Lexington. The closures are necessary for geotechnical drilling and survey work to continue.
Tuesday, April 1 – 7:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2
- Exit 5B - the southbound (outbound) ramp to US 60 (Versailles Road) will be closed
Wednesday, April 2 – 7:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 3
- the southbound lane of New Circle Road (outer loop) will be closed between mile points 4.6 and 4.8
- the left (fast) lane in each direction of US 60 (Versailles Road) will be closed between mile points 4.7 and 4.9
Thursday, April 3 – 7:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m. Friday, April 4
- Exit 5A - the northbound (inbound) ramp to US 60 (Versailles Road) will be closed
Appropriate signage and traffic control devices will be in place to alert motorists.
All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
