Lane closures scheduled for New Circle Road Bridges in Fayette County

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 6, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that temporary lane closures are scheduled for two New Circle Road Bridges in Lexington. The closures are necessary for the bridge approaches to be paved.
Work schedule and locations:
Thursday, Nov. 7 - 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- One lane in each direction will be closed on the New Circle Road Bridge located over Tates Creek Road. The bridge is located at mile point 17.808.
- One lane in each direction will be closed on the New Circle Road Bridge located over Richmond Road. The bridge is located at mile point 14.889.
One lane in each direction (for both bridges) will remain
open during the hours of work.
Appropriate signage and traffic control devices will be in place to alert motorists.
All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
