Lane closures extended for the Bluegrass Parkway in
Conduit and sensor work to be completed
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 30, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that temporary lane closures will be extended for a portion of the Bluegrass Parkway in Woodford County. The closures are necessary for conduit and sensor work to be completed by Arrow Electric Co.
- Friday, Nov. 1 – 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
The location for the lane closures on the Bluegrass Parkway (at the Huntertown Road overpass) is mile point 69.6.
One lane in each direction will remain open at all times.
Appropriate signage and traffic control devices will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public.
All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling near the work area.
