Improvements in progress for KY 1958 (the Winchester Bypass) and KY 1927 (Colby Road) in Clark County
Project involves new concrete replacement
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 21, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that improvements are in progress for KY 1958 (the Winchester Bypass) with KY 1927 (Colby Road). The project involves replacing asphalt with new concrete pavement for the intersection.
The project has started and will continue for approximately two weeks (through Monday, November 4).
KY 1958 (the Winchester Bypass) is reduced to one lane in each direction at the intersection with KY 1927 (Colby Road) for the duration of the work.
Appropriate signage is in place to alert and guide the traveling public.
All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
