Lanes reopening on U.S. 25 Project in Madison County
Delays still possible as crews complete work
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 15, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that two lanes have reopened to traffic along a portion of U.S. 25 in Madison County. The lanes had been closed due to ongoing paving work.
The project located on U.S. 25 (the Robert R. Martin Bypass) is the intersection with KY 52 (Irvine Road). The work is between mile points 16.99 and 16.388.
Weather permitting, the anticipated completion date for the project is Friday, Oct. 18.
- Tuesday, Oct. 15– the left turn lane onto Eastbound KY 52, and the left through lane are now open
- The right through lane and shoulder remain closed
Motorists may still expect some delays as work continues in this area.
Appropriate signage and traffic control devices are in place to guide and direct the traveling public.
