US 25 Project continues in Madison County
Improvements progress to provide enhancements
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 13, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that lane closures will continue to vary for a portion of US 25. The new concrete pavement work will provide several enhancements.
The project location on US 25 (the Robert R. Martin Bypass) is the intersection with KY 52 (Irvine Road). The work is between mile points 16.99 and 16.388.
The anticipated completion date for the project is Friday, October 18.
- Sunday, October 13 (beginning this evening) – there will be no left turn lane onto Eastbound KY 52, a through lane will be the only lane remaining open
Motorists should utilize an alternate route or expect long delays.
Appropriate signage and traffic control devices are in place to guide and direct the traveling public.
All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
