Rehab to be finished next year
FRANKFORT, Ky. (Jan. 4, 2013) – One of the major traffic arteries of central Kentucky – heavily traveled U.S. 60 between Lexington and Versailles – will be improved in 2013 through two pavement rehabilitation projects recently awarded by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
The two projects combined cover more than 13 miles.

The contract was awarded to a joint venture of H.G. Mays Corp. and Mago Construction LLC on a low bid of $13.19 million.

L-M Asphalt Partners was awarded the contract for its low bid of $22.74 million. A completion date for this portion has been set as Dec. 1, 2013.
