Traffic diversion scheduled for US 25 in Madison County
LEXINGTON, Ky. (October 7, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that a traffic diversion for US 25 is scheduled. The traffic switch is necessary for concrete pavement work to be completed.
- Monday, October 7 at approximately 5:30 p.m. – the southbound left turn lane of US 25 (the Robert R. Martin Bypass) will close at the intersection with KY 52 (Irvine Road). The location of the closure will be between mile point 16.199 and 16.388 (southbound side only).
Two of three lanes will remain open at all times -
(with the exception of times for concrete pours)
Appropriate signage and traffic control devices will be in place to guide and direct the traveling public.
All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of the work zone and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
