Closure scheduled for US 25 in Scott County
Slide repair project to take place
LEXINGTON, Ky. (October 2, 2013) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways,
announces that a temporary closure is scheduled for a portion of US 25 in Scott County. The closure is necessary for slide repair work.
- Thursday, October 3
- Friday, October 4
- Monday, October 7 through Friday, October 11
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for each scheduled day of work
The location for the closure (in both directions) on US 25 will be MP 23.
Appropriate signage will be in place to alert and guide the traveling public.
Only emergency and school vehicles will be allowed to pass through
the work zone.
Alternate Routes: Exit 136 and Exit 144 on I-75 can be utilized to access areas of US 25 north or south
of the work zone
All scheduled work is subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond
the control of the Department of Highways.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet asks motorists to be aware of work zone and to utilize safe driving
habits when traveling near the area.
